Workshops
Yoga Mandali, Saratoga Springs, 3/6/26, 6:00 - 7:30 pm
In a world where we are often programmed to believe that love is external and to be earned, how do we awaken to experiencing love as a presence unconditionally within us? The Buddhist practice of Metta Meditation—where we intentionally cultivate feelings of lovingkindness and compassion for ourselves and others —is not just a medicine for our times as a collective, but a powerful tool for allowing us to experience deeper healing and connection in our daily lives and relationships.

In this hour-and-a-half workshop, we’ll enjoy a short heart-opening flow to release stuck energy and prepare our bodies and minds for the guided Metta Meditation. Then, we’ll go deeper into the practice with guided journaling and group dialogue that will help us take the practice off our mats and into our everyday lives and our immediate relationships.
Saratoga Arts, Saratoga Springs, 3/31/26, 6:00-7:00 PM
Step into a yoga practice surrounded by the creativity of art. This all-levels flow takes place right inside the art gallery, where the colors, textures, and quiet hum of the space set the tone for a slower, more intentional class. We’ll move through mindful sequences inspired by the pieces around us, pausing to breathe, soften, and let the artwork shape our focus.

Expect gentle vinyasa, grounding stretches, and a meditative finish that leaves you feeling centered, refreshed, and a little more connected to the creative energy in the room.

Bring your mat, your curiosity, and get ready to flow among the 120-degree Intercollegiate Exhibition artwork.

$15 member/$20 non-member. Sign up.

Saratoga Arts, Saratoga Springs, 5/4/26, 6:00-9:00 PM
In this three-hour intensive, poet, journalist, and therapist Natalli Amato will guide participants on a journey of self-expression using poetry as the medium. Together, we will begin by reading and discussing poems by masters of the craft. Students will be led through a guided meditation intended to connect the heart center and instill confidence in expressing one's truth.

The rest of the workshop will be dedicated to writing our own poetry, guided by prompts inspired to help us hone our unique tone, style, and identity on the page. There will be time to share and discuss our work together.

No previous writing experience is needed for the workshop. Just come with an open mind and heart! Students are asked to bring a blank journal and writing utensils with them to class.
